Join us for a fun, family-friendly ~1-mile Fun Run set on a scenic route that winds through our prairie and around our school grounds. The course is a little over a mile and designed for an easy, approximately 20-minute walking pace, making it a great fit for all ages and activity levels.
This event is truly for everyone, whether you choose to walk, jog, run, or cheer. Don't feel like running or walking? Not a problem, bring your kid(s) and cheer from the side!
For those looking to add a little extra fun, we’ll offer an (optional) color run component—just wear a white shirt if you’d like to participate! (for more info on the color run powder, click here)
We’ll have water, drinks, and snacks available. All student participants will receive a fun run medal!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the library before and after the event, 4:00 - 7:30pm, for everyone to find their next good read.

6:00pm Welcome and overview; Warm-ups
6:10pm Walkers start (families with younger students, or those preferring a relaxed pace)
6:20pm Runners start (students and families who want a more active pace)
6:20-7:00pm Finish Line Celebration!
Until 7:30 Playground open; Book Fair open, chalk art in back
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open from 4:00pm until 7:30pm in the library (powder from the color run needs to stay outside : ) Come early or stay after - we hope everyone can find a great new book to read!
